Surviving and thriving empathic old trauma
by Irena Kyd on April 15, 2020

Born and raised in NE Kingdom of VT, oldest of 5 children in a dysfunctional family where safety and trust were not a priority, I survived and thrived by staying in my creativity.

Although I considered medicine, I went in the Fine Art direction looking for the truth and picking up everybody else's vibes.

It was a confusing time for me.

After a brief stint teaching secondary ed (grade 7-12) and then working for a gold leaf wood sign carver, I had many great breaks.

I ended up studying photography with Ansel Adams and his team and many more photographers becoming a master photographer but not yet knowing my visual voice.

I returned to the east coast and began to work and study with THE best (female) portrait and event photographer in the Boston area.

With her support, I won many awards among my peers and I began my own studio focusing on women.

I gave women permission and safety to express their own vision through me where they were not judged.

This was a very new concept in those days (1988).

During that time I and my work and my philosophy were frequently seen on TV with amazing reception from the audience and viewers.

I was prepaid and booked for 4 years continuously.

In the process, I found that I was needing to give each session undivided attention and in that process, I realized that kind of focus and care was giving unconditional love.

The surprise was that I was getting it back. I was looking for that trust all along and it was right under my nose.

I was allowed to see the soul and step back 2 steps for that honor to not be too revealing.

I learned to cut out the baggage of other peoples energy in that it should not mingle with my own (most of the time although I found weddings occasionally to be a trashcan of terrible vibes which resulted in my less than stellar follow through ).

I have continued my personal and professional development throughout my life.

Now I am transitioning from studio to coach in my field with the focus toward turning people onto themselves by using the camera as a tool to connect with their own awareness and creativity that results in soul touching mind's eye connection with unconditional love.

In addition to her medical doctorate she holds certifications in Law of Attraction Coaching, Trauma Resolution Coaching, and Marriage Facilitation. “I know first-hand how working insane hours and raising five children can destroy or stress a marriage. However, I was able to transform a “room-mate relationship” into a passionate love relationship with my husband of over 30 years. I marveled how we were able to reconnect on such a deep level! After studying countless experts in the industry and doing extensive research into neuroscience, the brain, memory of emotional trauma, and ancient oriental wisdom and medicine, a system began to emerge. This system is what I want to bring to you, so you too can reconnect with your love, and be happy again, every day.” The "Relationship Success Formula" is a comprehensive system that explains why women and men sometimes struggle to connect on a deep level and what a couple can do to overcome the "Love Divide"
