Episode 550 with guest Rachel O’ Neill
After a holiday to celebrate her 50th birthday, Rachel was touched by the plight of the children in the remote villages, especially little girls. The goal was to give simple little dresses made of pillowcases to “plant in the hearts of little girls that they are worthy”. This simple idea quickly grew into a global effort which has resulted in over 8 million dresses delivered in 97 countries as well as the “Britches for Boys” and “The Dignity Program” for young ladies. The dresses serve as little ambassadors for relief projects through clean water, education and community.
